Head of Performance Marketing (m/f/d)

General Description
Join a great team and successful journey and be responsible for the Online Marketing team, and all OM channels; drive awareness, international growth, performance and efficiency.

Your Role

  • Develop and drive the company’s OM strategy based on the company’s overall business and marketing strategy, with a highly analytical and numbers-driven approach

  • Build and lead a strong OM team, with responsible channel managers for Paid Social, SEO, SEA, CRM, Social (Influencer),Native, Affiliate, and more

  • Work closely with BI and Growth on strategies and tests for accelerated growth

  • Be responsible for the performance of all respective channels, and enable the team to meet and exceed monthly and quarterly business goals 

  • Manage continuous KPI optimisation through thoughtful and systematic testing 

  • Continue to optimize smart multi-channel marketing attribution model in sparring with BI to continuously enable the increase of ROI across all OM channels 

  • Control and document the success of all activities and campaigns through defined KPIs

  • Lead the team with a strong positive ‘can-do’ mindset, communicate strategies and tactics clearly and complex topics crisp and comprehensive to team and stakeholders

  • Coordinate and partner with various internal teams to ensure alignment across the organization such as Brand Marketing, Creative Department, Retail & Sales, BI, Product or IT

  • Present results regularly to leadership teams and management 

  • Co-drive Horizn Studios strong growth across Europe and take it global with us

Your Skills & Experience

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a senior leadership role in digital marketing, experience in startups; international e-commerce and DTC brand experience is a plus

  • Strong experience in all perf. channels, especially Paid Social, SEA and Social (Influencer)

  • Excellent leadership skills, you know how to empower your team and delegate effectively 

  • Deep understanding of brand and performance-driven marketing and its analytics, upper funnel and lower funnel dynamics 

  • Experience in leading global multi-channel integrated marketing campaigns

  • You love data and have strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills 

  • You are an excellent team player, results-oriented and like to take the initiative

  • You are fluent in English - German a plus

  • BSc/BA in a relevant field; Master is a plus
