Lifetime Guarantee
All new Horizn Studios suitcases, purchased after the 1st of February 2023, are covered by a Lifetime Manufacturer’s Guarantee. To claim it, you need a valid Proof of Purchase and register online within 30 days of purchase. This Lifetime Manufacturer’s Guarantee, as detailed below, is provided exclusively to the registered owner, beginning at the purchase date (guarantee period) for the lifetime of the luggage. All statutory rights remain unaffected by this policy. For items that haven’t been registered online, a two-year warranty period applies.
Luggage items purchased before the 1st of February 2023 continue to be covered by a five-year guarantee, if registered, and by a two-year guarantee if not registered.
The Manufacturer’s Guarantee covers all functional aspects of your Horizn Studios luggage for the life of the product. It doesn’t apply to cosmetic wear and tear (such as scratches), misuse or abuse, damages (such as dents or cracks) caused by negligence or accident by any third party, particularly flight or transport damages.
Damage caused by third parties (e.g. airline) is also excluded from coverage and should be immediately reported directly to the carrier who will be insured against this. Please note that you’re obligated to declare any damage with the third party in accordance with its terms and conditions; this will have to be done right after landing and in person.
To assert a claim under the Manufacturer’s Guarantee, please immediately inform Horizn Studios by completing the Warranty section of our Customer Contact Form within the guarantee period and provide pictures of the damage as well as original proof of purchase.
Based on the information provided, Horizn Studios will then decide whether the damage to the Horizn Studios Luggage product is covered by the guarantee. If an event covered by this warranty occurs, Horizn Studios will, in its discretion, remove the defects by repair, replacement of the defective part or replacement supply. In case of replacement supply, Horizn Studios reserves the right to deliver a Horizn Studios Luggage of a different colour if the original colour is not available at the time. Transport costs will exclusively be covered within the shipping country of original purchase. Please note that, due to the limited nature of Limited-Edition Horizn Studios Luggage, the replacement supply will apply to the same luggage model of Horizn Studios Luggage without the special edition application, subject to availability. The Manufacturer’s Guarantee is strictly limited to the value of the product.
These warranties are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the applicability of the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
The warranty shall continue to apply to the repaired or replaced Horizn Studios Luggage; the original Warranty Period is not extended, however.
The definition of Horizn Studios Luggage refers to the following product groups: M5 Cabin Luggage, H5 Cabin Luggage, H6 Check-In Luggage and H7 Check-In Luggage.
The Smart Luggage’s Smart Battery
Horizn Studios guarantees that the battery delivered to you will not show the following defects within a period of two years from the date of purchase stated on the sales receipt (Warranty Period):
- The battery can’t be charged or discharged anymore
- The battery can’t supply sufficient power to compatible devices anymore
The warranty shall not apply to:
- Any slowdown in the charging process, which is market standard for batteries
- The functioning of the battery if it’s charged with other than original Horizn Studios adapters or charging cables
- Impairments to the functionality of the battery caused by improper use of the Horizn Studios Luggage
- Batteries in Horizn Studios Luggage that were not purchased from HS New Travel GmbH or one of the aforementioned official distribution partners and
- Batteries in Horizn Studios Luggage that were purchased second hand or as "graded stock", "returns" or were purchased as part of a “Sample Sale”.

Two-Year Guarantee for Horizn Studios Softgoods
All new Horizn Studios Softgoods products purchased after the 1st of February 2023 are covered by a Two-Year Manufacturer’s Guarantee when the claim is accompanied by a valid Proof of Purchase and has been registered online within 30 days of purchase.
This Two-Year Manufacturer’s Guarantee, as detailed below, is provided exclusively to the registered owner, beginning at the purchase date (guarantee period) for a period of two years. All statutory rights remain unaffected by this policy. For items that haven’t been registered online, a One-Year warranty period applies.
The Manufacturer’s Guarantee applies exclusively if the usability of the softgoods product is adversely affected by a manufacturing or material defect that was present at the time that the item was handed over. Excluded from the manufacturer’s guarantee is cosmetic wear and tear as well as problems in which the usability of the product is restricted but not adversely affected, such as by abrasion, improper use, faulty operation, stains or externally occurring forces (such as damage occurring during flights or transport including deformation, scratches, wear etc.) as well as by liquids.

Sample Sale or Archive Sale Items
B-stock suitcases that were purchased as part of a “sample sale” or “archive sale”, will be covered by a two-year manufacturer’s guarantee.
B-stock bags, backpacks and accessories that were purchased as part of a “sample sale” or “archive sale”, will be covered by a one-year manufacturer’s guarantee.
